NORTH EAST, Pa. — The Jamestown Community College wrestling team lost a close 30-27 NJCAA Region 3 decision to Mercyhurst North East on Wednesday.

Winners for the Jayhawks were Paul Manning IV via pin at 133 pounds; Nick Kozlowski (Portville) via injury default at 141 pounds; Dan Torres (Cassadaga Valley) via pin at 174 pounds; Cameron Page (Falconer) via pin at 184 pounds; and Nick Jones (Dunkirk) via a 7-3 decision at 285 pounds.

Winners for the Saints were Dylan Pesock with a pin at 125 pounds; Aaron Morris via pin at 149 pounds; Spencer Head via pin at 157 pounds; Chris Maute via forfeit at 165 pounds; and Hunter Harnish via pin at 197 pounds.
