Jayhawks Face NCCC at Home Tomorrow Evening

JAMESTOWN – After coming off an impressive victory this past weekend, the Jamestown Community College wrestling team will be back in action tomorrow evening against Region 3 foe Niagara County Community College.

 

The Jayhawks (1-1) are coming off a 38-12 win over Lackawanna College thanks to picking up four falls.

 

133 pounder Taige Jones (Bemus Point, NY/Maple Grove HS), 141 pounder Trenton Donahue (DuBois, PA. DuBois Area HS), 165 pounder Andrew Bungar (Hermitage, PA/Hickory HS), and Alex Christy (Fredonia, NY/Fredonia HS) all earned falls, each needing two periods or less.

 

The Thunderwolves saw their first action of the season this past weekend, picking up a pair of wins. NCCC took down Garrett College by a score of 39-16 and make quick work of Lackawanna by the score of 40-3.
