The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks (Div. III, 0-2) traveled to Myrtle Beach to face the Spartans of Elgin Community College. The Jayhawks jumped out to an early 2-1 lead at the end of the 1st inning. However, in the bottom of the 2nd inning, the Spartans caught fire and scored 6 runs. The Spartans added 1 run in the 4th inning and 2 more runs in the 5th to give them a 10-2 lead. The Jayhawks rallied with 4 runs but the Spartans proved too big an obstacle to overcome. The Jayhawks had runs scored by #9 Bram Johnson (Jamestown, NY), #4 Will Lucas (Bemus Point, NY), #11 Justin Forster (Catt-Little Valley, NY), #23 Jacob Domes (Springville, NY), #16 Rob Burgess (Westfield, NY), and #2 Daniel Bencosme (Jamaica, NY).  Jacob Domes had 2 RBIs while #6 Jeff Andrulis (Therold, ON) and #18 Mike Wilcox (Falconer, NY) had 1 RBI each.
