JCC's Dylan Kinney Continues his Baseball Career at Texas A&M International University

JAMESTOWN, NY - Jamestown Community College's Dylan Kinney (Winter Haven, FL / Fort Meade Middle-Senior) is continuing his academic and athletic careers at Texas A&M International University.

"The opportunity I was given was just too good to pass on. Every day that passed, the feeling that this is where I belong grew stronger," said Kinney.

The southpaw was dominant on the bump for the Jayhawks in 2025. He not only led the team in ERA at 0.89, but that led all of NJCAA regardless of division.

"JCC baseball helped me prepare for this by giving me an opportunity to prove myself and then more and more opportunities after that. I wouldn't have had the success I had without the coaching staff," he added.

Kinney finished his career with 84 strikeouts in 93 innings. When he isn't fanning batters on mound for the Dustdevils, Dylan plans to major in business administration while in the Lone Star State.

"JCC helped prepare me academically by showing me how important the school side of being a student-athlete truly is," mentioned Kinney.

Kinney was part of a large contingent of Floridians to make their way to Jamestown under Head Coach Jerico Weitzel, leading to some of his career highlights in the green and gold.

"My favorite memory was from freshman year when my childhood friend De'Sean Rogers and I threw back-to-back complete game shutouts," said a satisfied Kinney.

Kinney and the rest of his Dustdevil teammates report to campus in August, with fall ball starting shortly thereafter.
