Quiet Day Two Of Nationals For The Jayhawks

Fort Pierce, Fla. - It was a quiet day in the pool for the Jamestown Community College men's swimming & diving team, competing solely in relay events on day two of the 2022 NJCAA Swimming & Diving National Championships.

 

The team of Joseph Keyser (Mayville, NY/Chautauqua Lake Central), Matthew Fennell (Fourways Garden, Johannesburg, South Africa/King Edwards VII School), Jackson Vanstrom (Jamestown, NY/Southwestern High), and Cole Carlson (Boonsboro, MD/Southwestern High) finished sixth in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:38.09.

 

The relay team of Keyser, Fennell, Carlson, and Colby Pantall (Jamestown, NY/Maple Grove HS) finished eighth in the 400 yard medley relay with a time of 4:15.68 to finish the night.

 

As a team, the Jayhawks are in eighth place with 70 points, trailing Region 3 foe Genesee Community College by 10 points.

 

JCC will be back in action tomorrow morning for day three starting at 9:30 a.m.
