Fennell Set New School Record In 100 Yard IM

Fort Pierce, Fla. - On the third day of the NJCAA Swimming & Diving National Championships, Matthew Fennell (Fourways Garden, Johannesburg, South Africa/King Edwards VII School) set a new school record in the 100 yard IM, posting a time of 1:03.29.

 

Other than Fennell's individual event, he was joined by Joseph Keyser (Mayville, NY/Chautauqua Lake Central), Colby Pantall (Jamestown, NY/Maple Grove HS), and Jackson Vanstrom (Jamestown, NY/Southwestern High) for the 200 yard medley relay. The team finished with a time of 1:54.09 for seventh place.

 

As a team, the Jayhawks are in eighth place with 94 points, trailing Region 3 foe Genesee Community College by eight points.

 

JCC will be back in action tomorrow morning for the fourth and final day starting at 9:30 a.m.
